Justina graduated from Connecticut College with a Bachelor’s in Human Development and Psychology. She went on to receive her Master’s in Special Education and a Graduate Certificate in Applied Behavioral Analysis from the University of Massachusetts, Boston. She is also a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
With nearly a decade of experience in the field of education, Justina began her career as a special education teacher, specializing in students with moderate to severe behavioral challenges in the public school setting.
She expanded her expertise to deliver in-home services for children with moderate developmental disabilities, between the ages of 18 mo to 13 years old. Her passion flourished as she dedicated herself to collaborating with parents and caregivers, assisting them in teaching practical skills to their children such as potty training, sensory toleration, emotional regulation, fostering positive sibling interaction, building parent-child relationships, and establishing successful bedtime routines.
Through her experience with children of varying cognitive abilities, she discovered the universal applicability of evidence-based practices in applied behavioral analysis for all kids, regardless of a diagnosis.
Justina’s passion lies in empowering parents, nurturing their confidence in teaching essential life skills to their children, ultimately guiding their child to independence. She has supported numerous families in overcoming a variety of behavioral challenges. She looks forward to the opportunity to work with your unique family as well!
